Hey! I'm an architect who likes to make cool things and is constantly on the move.
My design ethos is somewhere between efficient and impatient, but always centers around fun.
I was raised in rural Nebraska, welding, woodworking, and working. I'm a subpar welder now, but can still use a table-saw like a champ. My initial interests were graphic design, and shortly thereafter I dove into computer science. I tried finding ways of merging physical construction with digital iteration.
Architecture-wise, I'm a jack-of-all-trades with interests in the technology, design, and construction. Each one feels vital to today's practices, so I can't ignore any of them. I'm confident that I can model and build anything, and if I can't, I'll study how to quickly.
With AI tools opening doors, I've been redeveloping my technology stack and have focused on creating lightweight architectural tools. I work with a sense of urgency that I feel my tools lack. I hope to change that.
When not at the office, I'm oil painting, writing, reading, and walking. I also have a golden retriever named Sunny — she's the best.
